British Airways Boeing 777 Overview

BA operates a variety of 777 aircraft. The BA 777 seat map shows that the transatlantic plane has four cabins, although the airline also offers a 3-cabin layout. All seats feature personal television displays streaming a wide selection of media, including movies, TV shows, music, and audiobooks.

Seats in First, Club World Business, and World Traveler Plus include power outlets for passengers to plug their gadgets. But not all BA 777 airplanes feature a power port in the World Traveller cabin.

Depending on the flight duration and departure location, British Airways provides a selection of complimentary meals and drinks aboard their Boeing 777 airplanes. However, Club Europe passengers always get a more premium service.

First

The BA 777 First class carries 14 passengers in its incredibly comfortable suites. All the seats in this cabin are private and perfect for people traveling with their partners.

However, you may find the first-row seats of the British Airways First class 777, 1A, 1E, 1F, and 1K undesirable because of their proximity to the lavatories. In addition, 4A and 4K are unsuitable since they are close to the galley and lavatory.

BA 777 First class

Club World

The British Airways Business class Boeing 777 is also known as Club World cabin. There are 48 fully flatbed seats in it, spread out over six rows of eight.

Most seats are great for relaxation during flights, but some have a few niggles. For example, seats 10AB and 10JK’s proximity to the restrooms is a drawback. Also, there is a problem with the window alignment in 12A and 12K.

Club World

Seats 15A and 15K have certain benefits over other seats in the cabin since they provide extra legroom when reclined. In addition, they are perfect for baby-carrying passengers because they have bassinets.
Though these seats are for passengers with infants, other people can book them 24 hours before departure. All middle seats — the E and F seats — are great for couples.

World Traveller Plus

World Traveller Plus

There are 40 seats in the World Traveler Plus cabin, spread across five rows in a 2-4-2 configuration. According to the British Airways 777-200 refurbishment seat map, the 21st-row seats are the best in the cabin.

Seats 21AB, 21DEFG, and 21JK come with additional legroom, which boosts the comfort of their occupants. These seats also include a built-in footrest, even though their width is less than others. This factor is because the tray tables are on their armrests.

Also, during takeoff and landing, you cannot stow anything under the seat in front of you.

The 25th row has no significant drawbacks other than the proximity to the restrooms. However, the legroom and storage space beneath each seat is affected by the entertainment equipment below them.

World Traveller

The World Traveller cabin features 122 standard seats.

Out of the gate, 26A and 26K are not ideal seats because of the bulky exit door in front of them, which makes it difficult for passengers to stretch their legs. Other drawbacks include the narrower widths and closeness to the restrooms and the absence of overhead storage and floor storage during takeoff and landing.

There is more legroom in the remaining seats of the 26th row, though. As a result, 26DC, 26DEF, and 26HJ will appeal to taller passengers. But they have the same drawbacks as 26A and 26K: no overhead storage and a narrower seat pitch during takeoff and landing.

36A, 36K, 37A, 37K, and 38A also have narrower widths. But going by the BA 777-200 seat map, seats 38ABC are the worst since they do not recline and are too near to the restrooms. On the other hand, 39J and 39K are good seats; their sole drawback is the proximity to the aircraft’s lavatories and galleys.

Club World

The Club World is the Boeing 777 British Airways Business class cabin, containing 32 seats in a 2-4-2 layout. These seats provide AC power and on-demand TV to give passengers premium entertainment. Also, they fully recline into flat beds so passengers can comfortably lie on them.

Seats E and F in the first row are ideal for passengers with companions. According to the Boeing 777 seat map British Airways, seats 1DEGF may leave a bit to be desired due to their proximity to the lavatories.

Other seats that passengers may find undesirable are 4B and 45DEFG. But, again, the proximity to the lavatory and galley isn’t something many passengers look forward to.

World Traveller Plus

World Traveller Plus

On the Boeing 777 British Airways seat map, the World Traveller is the Premium Economy cabin. This cabin starts from the 10th to the 15th row.

The first-row seats, 10AB, 10DEFG, and 10JK, come with more space for legs. Also, they are ideal for passengers traveling with their infants since they have bassinets.

The 10AB, 10DEFG, and 10JK have certain downsides, like their need for floor storage for passengers to keep their properties during landing and takeoff. In addition, they have smaller seat widths and immovable armrests since the tray tables are on the armrests. Finally, their proximity to the lavatory and galley may cause discomfort.

From the BA 777 200 seat map, other seats in the World Traveller Plus cabin are standard. There are no power ports in the seats for passengers to plug in their gadgets. However, there is on-demand TV, and the onboard seats recline.

World Traveller

There are no perfect seats in the World Traveller cabin.

From the British Airways 777 seat map, seats 20ABC, 20DEFG, and 20HJK are among the best seats in the cabin. However, even they have their downsides. Although they have extra legroom due to the bulkhead, the tray tables in their armrests reduce their seat width and make the armrest immovable.

Seat Map British Airways 777 (777-200) Gatwick Three Class

Seats 31ABC, 31DEFG, and 31HJK are undesirable due to their proximity to the lavatories; passengers who need to use the restrooms cluster around them. Seats 32DE and 32FG are also close to the washrooms; hence, they are unsuitable. They have all the downsides of 31ABC, 31DEFG, and 31HJK.

Even though other seats in the 33rd row have extra legroom, 33A, and 33K do not due to the protrusion of the exit door. All seats in the 33rd row are slightly undesirable due to their proximity to the lavatories, small seat width, immovable armrests, and lack of ground storage space during takeoff and landing. Limited recline, proximity to the restrooms, and less personal space make 45AB, 45Jk, and 46DEFG bad seats.

Club World

The Club World of the BA 777 200 has a 2-4-2 cabin configuration. The arrangement of the seats in this cabin ensures that passengers have the privacy they need.

The B seats in this cabin are perfect since passengers in them will not be interrupted by those in A seats. 2B and 2J are the best seats due to their extra legroom. Seats 1D and 1F are excellent since they have extra legroom; however, their proximity to the lavatory and galley may be unpleasant.

According to the BA 777 Business class seat map, 5A and 5K are unsuitable since they do not have windows. Then, the closeness to the lavatory and galley makes 5B and 5J undesirable for most passengers. Avoid 10B, 10D, 10G, and 10J, if you can, because of their proximity to the lavatories.

World Traveller Plus

The World Traveller Plus cabin behind the British Airways Boeing 777 Business class comprises 24 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. In this part of the aircraft, there is no bad seat.

The best seats are in the 12th row, comprising 12AB, 12DEFG, and 12JK. Compared to others, they have extra leg space to keep you comfortable. The downside of these seats is their need for floor storage for passengers to keep their belongings.

World Traveller

The World Traveller cabin of the British Airways 777 200 contains 203 standard seats. The first-row seats, 15AB, 15DEF, and 15JK, come with extra legroom, giving passengers the luxury of stretching their legs forwards and being more comfortable.

Furthermore, the seats are also perfect for passengers traveling with infants. On the other hand, 16C and 16H are unsuitable due to their smaller seat width and immovable armrests, which is unsurprising due to the tray tables on their armrests. Also, these seats need storage space for passengers to keep their items during landing and takeoff.

17A and 17K do not have windows, and you may avoid the 23rd-row seats since they do not recline. The proximity to the lavatories and galley also makes these seats unsuitable.

Seats 26A and 26K don’t have ample legroom, and it is due to the protrusion of the doors in front of them. Also, they do not have windows.

Although other seats in the 26th row have extra leg space, they have smaller seat widths and immovable armrests and do not have floor storage during takeoff and landing. Additionally, they are close to the lavatories and galleys.

From the British Airways Boeing 777 seat map, the proximity to the lavatories and galley ruins the comfortability of seats 38HJK, 38C, 39AB, 39F, and 40DEF. However, 39A and 39B are perfect for passengers traveling with their partners because of how close they are.

Club World

The Club World is the Business cabin of the BA Boeing 777. According to the BA 777 new Business class seat map, it features 40 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. The cabin’s layout ensures privacy for all passengers, with some seats facing forward while others face backward.

The front row seats, 1DE and 1FG, are undesirable due to their closeness to the lavatory. 1D and 1F are perfect for passengers traveling with their partners.

Seats 2A and 2K are good if you want privacy — there is less interruption from other passengers. In addition, they have enough legroom to keep you comfortable.

3D and 3G are rear-facing seats good for passengers traveling with infants due to their bassinets. Finally, the 4th-row seats are too close to the galley and lavatory.

World Traveller Plus

The World Traveller Plus cabin is the Premium Economy of British Airways 777. The BA 777 seat map Premium Economy shows it houses 24 seats in a 2-4-2 configuration. However, unlike the Club World cabin, passengers don’t enjoy AC power and on-demand TV.

Albeit with some downsides, the first-row seats comprising 12AB, 12DEFG, and 12JK are the best spots in this cabin. They feature extra legroom due to the bulkhead position. However, they do not have floor storage for landing or takeoff. Also, the seats aren’t as wide as others.

World Traveller Plus

World Traveller

This cabin has good and bad seats. The 15th row, comprising 15AB, 15DEF, and 15JK, are good seats to sit in, especially for passengers with kids since they have bassinets and extra legroom.

However, their tray tables make the armrests Immovable, which may not be the best for some people. Also, they do not have floor storage for passengers to keep their belongings during landing or takeoff.

The proximity to the lavatory and galley makes the 25th-row seats undesirable. 25ABC, 25DEF, and 25HJK may have passengers wanting to use the restroom congregating around them.

Seats in the 26th row, 26ABC, 26DEF, and 26HJK come with extra leg space due to the exit row in front of them. However, their proximity to the lavatories, their immovable armrests, narrow seat width, and lack of ground storage for belongings during landing and takeoff take the shine off these seats.

The 38ABC, 38HJK, and 40DEF are this cabin’s worst seats. People sitting in them may feel uncomfortable due to the lavatories and galley behind them.

Club World

The BA 777 Business class seats are known as Club World seats. The cabin comprises 32 seats with numerous amenities to ensure your comfort.

They recline fully into flatbeds, so you can comfortably lie down when you want to sleep. Also, all seats have on-demand television and AC power, ensuring you enjoy premium entertainment without worrying about the battery life of your devices.

Seats D, E, F, and G in the first row are undesirable due to their proximity to the lavatory and galley. 4BD and 4GJ are also the same. Additionally, if you are traveling with your partner, avoid them — they lack the privacy you may want.

World Traveller Plus

The World Traveler cabin of the British Airways 777 200 has a 2-4-2 configuration. The First row seats, comprising 10AB, 10DEFG, and 10JK, are the least desirable in the World Traveller Plus cabin.

The downsides of these seats are being in front of the galley and lavatory and having immovable armrests. Also, the seats have a narrow width.

Additionally, these first-row seats need floor storage space for passengers to keep their belongings during landing and takeoff. Though these downsides are not deal-breakers, they make the seats less comfortable than others.

World Traveller

According to the British Airways Boeing 777 seating plan World Traveller, the cabin has 3-4-3 and 2-4-2 configurations. One of the best places to sit in this cabin is the front row, comprising seats 20ABC, 20DEFG, and 20HJK. These seats are standard with extra legroom due to the bulkhead position.

However, they do not have floor storage, and they also have immovable armrests.

The 31st-row seats, 31ABC, 31DEFG, and 31HJK, are too close to the lavatory and galley, making them bad.

World Traveller

Even the BA Boeing 777 seat map shows that 32ABC, 32DEFG, and 32HJK are also bad seats. Though they have more legroom than other seats, many would avoid them because of their position on the back of the plane, close to the washrooms. Furthermore, their lack of floor storage is also a downside.

44AB and 44JK do not recline and have less personal space. Closeness to the restroom makes seats 45DEFG bad, while the last row seats, comprising 46DEFG, have limited recline and less personal space for passengers.
